BYU Evening Classes

In addition to Independent Study, as a BGS student you are granted registration eligibility that makes it possible for you to enroll in BYU Evening Classes. You do not need to apply to the individual department.

BYU Evening Classes offers hundreds of undergraduate university courses during the evening hours. These courses provide additional options for BGS students to fill degree requirements.

How Do Evening Courses Work?

Courses taught through Evening Classes are the same semester–based classes as those taught during the day at BYU. Current class schedules, tuition rates, and registration deadlines are available online at classschedule.byu.edu. Evening Classes courses are represented in the online class schedule by the word Evening next to the section numbers.

How Do I Register for Evening Classes?

As an admitted BGS student, you will automatically have registration eligibility to enroll for Evening Classes. You will register for these classes and pay tuition using the university’s online registration system.

On Campus Spring and Summer Terms

Formally admitted BGS students also automatically have registration eligibility to enroll in day classes at BYU during spring and summer terms. Current class schedules, tuition rates, and registration deadlines are available online at classschedule.byu.edu
